Rich is a Managing Partner at Transcend Capital Advisors. Prior to joining Transcend, Rich was the portfolio manager of a long-short multi-sector equities hedge fund at Mariner Investment Group. Prior to his time at Mariner, he was a co-founder and portfolio manager at Stadia Capital which was acquired by Morgan Stanley. Previously, Rich worked as a corporate finance investment banker at Merrill Lynch & Co. He began his career as a Field Artillery Officer in the First Armored Division of the United States Army in Baumholder, Germany.
Rich graduated from the United States Military Academy with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Systems Engineering, and an MBA in Finance from New York University.
